As women in the Brainerd Lakes area prepare for the upcoming Clear Vision With Confidence event at Cragun’s with Keynote Speaker, Rachel Cruz, I thought you may like to know a little bit more about the LOCAL panel speakers that will also be gracing the stage all in support of Confidence Learning Center.

Meet Cindy Clough

Cindy (Fryklind) Clough grew up in the Brainerd Lakes Area and has lived here ever since.  Her love of precision dance has built into a career with her husband Steve and involves her whole family.   Just For Kix was started on a whim when moms rushed Cindy at a girl scout banquet where the Warrior Dance Team had performed.  “We had just won state for the first time in 1981 and moms asked if I would teach precision dance to their children.”  It was about a 5-minute decision.  Sure!  Much to the dismay of her parents, she dropped out of college after 2 years to pursue this dream.  Fast forward to 2020 and Just For Kix has expanded to 210 communities with 1000 employees.  She still coaches the Brainerd Warrior Dance Team “The Kixters” to this day.
