After a two week trial, a winner was announced between two burgers created by students in a marketing class at Brainerd High School that were featured at the 612 Station.
The idea was that the class went through everything in the marketing process to promote their burger. From things like radio ads (we really like that idea, no bias…) to Facebook commercials, the class got to see real world results.
The Cowboy Burger ended up being the best seller. The burger consisted of a hamburger patty, bacon, cheddar cheese, mac and cheese bites and, of course, Reno sauce.
I was personally lucky enough to try out the Cowboy Burger during the two week stretch and it was unbelievable. It also sounds like the Cowboy burger is still currently available at the 612 station.
