With the VERY COLD temperatures expected in the Brainerd Lakes Area over the next few days and coming months, Bridges of Hope reminds the public that the Brainerd Area Overnight Shelter is open for those in need of a warm place to sleep. If you are in need of a warm, safe place to sleep between the hours of 7:00PM and 8:00 AM and are 18 or older, you are welcome. Those who need a bed must arrive at the shelter between 7:00 and 11:00 PM. There is no limit on the number of nights you can stay. You will NOT be required to sign up for anything or required to do anything to stay at the shelter. It is simply a place to get a good, warm night’s sleep and maybe a cup of coffee and snacks, depending on availability. The shelter address is 1926 S. 7th Street in Brainerd. For more information, visit the Bridges of Hope website.
If you know anyone who is in need of this information, please pass it along and/or share on your social media page.
Thank you.
