Today, Monday, June 14th is Flag Day. Join our co-worker host Bill Satre at the annual Brainerd Elks Flag Day Celebration.
In 1949, President Harry Truman signed legislation designating June 14th of each year as national Flag Day. Though Flag Day is not a federal holiday, the U.S. Government encourages its citizens to display old glory outside of their homes and businesses. Join your Brainerd Elks Lodge #615 for the traditional Flag Day Ceremony at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 14th on the east lawn of the Historic Crow Wing County Court House at the All Veterans Memorial. Bring your own lawn chair and be sure to distance as needed by current state policy.

Thank you to the Brainerd Sertoma Club for getting all the flags up around town, too! It’s quite a sight to see!
Happy Flag Day!
