It turns out you might want to think again about running that red light after these blue lights have been installed.

According to the Brainerd Dispatch, nine traffic lights have been installed around the Brainerd Lakes area with three more to be installed. These lights are meant to help police officers catch cars that are running red lights safe and efficiently. The blue lights turn on when the light turns red and officers can see the blue light and the car that enters the intersection while they are stationed in their squad car from a distance.
