It’s that time of year again… time for the annual Pequot Lakes Bean Hole Days! Last night (7/16/19), they buried the five gigantic pots of beans into the ground to cook overnight and today (7/17/19), it’s time to eat beans! I just had to know if you could smell them cooking at 4:00 a.m…. so I stopped by Trailside Park to find out. Turns out, I could NOT smell them cooking, but crews are ready to raise the beans at 11:30 and start serving the FREE BEANS at 12:00 today! Festivities begin at 9:00 with the craft fair and fun for the kiddos. Don’t miss Bean Hole Days! I hear it’s a real gas!
