Ken, Tess and Stu Participate In Walk To End Alzheimer’s

Alz 2019 Crew

Brainerd Lakes Area:  YOU ROCK!  Thank you to everyone who joined in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease (and related dementias) on Saturday, September 28th at Forestview Middle School in Baxter for the Walk To End Alzheimer’s.

Whether you came out to walk, made a monetary or silent auction donation to the cause, donated money to any team (especially to Team Ken or Team Tess Taylor), YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!  At event time, the total raised for the cause was over $139,000!!!!  We have GOT TO find a cure for this disease.  To the 600 who were in attendance at the walk, we thank you and we all understand each other because we have all been affected by this horrible disease.  To the sponsors, too… you are wonderful!

Thank you to WJJY Meteorologist Stu Muck and his fun wife, Jane, for making the 7 hour car ride from Wisconsin to be here for this important weekend (and for their contribution to my team).  When little Gunnar heard that Stu was going to be at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, he just had to be there!  This little guy raised money and got his dad and sister to get him to the walk where he met his “hero,” Stu.  Kids, man… Love them!

Also walking was Ken’s wife, Kathy…and Ken’s sister, Leslie.  Thank you, ladies!

Please know, it is NOT TOO LATE to make a donation toward the fight.  Below, you will find a link to my Walk page and I will take donations through December 1st.  ANY help you can give would be helpful and appreciated! The collective goal is to reach $145,000 as that is what it will take to provide services here in central Minnesota to those suffering!   To those who already did donate… bless you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please donate HERE.

Thank you!
