Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate these new Minnesota Timberwolves ‘Prince’ tribute jerseys.

The Timberwolves, in a partnership with the Prince Estate, have unveiled the new City Edition jersey. The video introducing the jersey was one of the cooler things you’ll see today. It’s nice to see the history of the iconic Minnesota artist with First Ave getting some love in the beginning of the video. Also notice the lack of a certain Timberwolves player in the video that has made his voice heard about how he wants out of town…

The team will wear the jerseys on Friday, November 16th when the Portland Trail Blazers come to Target Center.
