
It was a little surprising but no true Minnesotan was shocked to see snow falling as the fishing season opened up on Saturday.
It gave eager anglers cause to grumble under their breath, shrug their shoulders and then take a few pictures. (My pictorial contribution is a snowball topped by a bobber.)
We’ve come to expect the unexpected. Wintry weather has often had a tendency to make a brief comeback through the days of Spring.
If nothing else, Saturdays snows gave us fodder for future fish tales.
