The Biggest Rummage Sale In Nisswa I’ve Ever Seen Is Happening This Weekend

Oh, my WORD!  It’s HUGE!  The annual HUGE FALL RUMMAGE SALE at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa.

I had a sneak preview of the sale that literally has EVERYTHING you could ever need.  Merchandise is inside, out in the parking lot, out on the lawn, up and down the hallways.  If you are looking for a great deal, THIS IS IT.

When you walk in, you’ll get a bag.  There is an area inside the Celebration Center portion of the church that is “anything you can get in the bag – total $6.”  There are other sections of marked items (priced items), and there is a jewelry nook, a boutique, an “oval room” and a silent auction.  You will find couches, tables, chairs, appliances (including the throw-back Toastmaster Hot Air Popcorn Popper – you know the one, with the yellow top that melted butter as the popcorn popped!), a few George Foreman Grills, lamps, lamps, lamps.  They had quilts, blankets, pillows, old telephones, some antiques and a few pack-n-plays along with other things for kids.  Did I mention SHOES?  Two.  Whole.  Walls.  Of.  Shoes.  And BOOKS – lots of books.

The hours of this sale are Friday, Sept. 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (NO EARLY SALES)… and Saturday – when everything will be HALF PRICE, is from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Don’t miss this sale!  And please know – all the money is going back to non-profits in the area and some of the ministries of Lutheran Church of the Cross.  Please, then, remember it’s a FUNDRAISER…so “bargaining?”… think twice.  Please.  Just MY opinion, but I would maybe save that skill for your neighbor’s rummage sale.
