It was one of those classic Minnesota summer nights.  On Friday, June 14th, hundreds of our friends and neighbors gathered together at The Confidence Center for the annual Camp Classic Mariucci Fiesta. It was a night of good company, good food and good times.

The Brainerd Sertomans were there, as they are every year, preparing the feast at this years fiesta. Among them, and pictured above, were the venerable “vegetable” Bob Ehrich together with his lovely daughter Sandy and her lovely daughter, Brigid. Three generations of willing and very able culinary talent. Bob helped prepare the “veggies” at many a past “Fiesta”.

This year, The Confidence Learning Center (Camp Confidence) celebrates it’s 50th year.  What a point of pride for all who have worked so hard for so many years to provide thousands of campers with a true Minnesota experience.

They are “ambassadors of good will” who so very admirably represent all of us who call The Brainerd Lakes Area our home.
